Crazy Sunday

Wow, what a busy day.  you would think this is a vacation area or something.  Actually, only 2 of the 3 lodgings places are open.  The Old Faithful Inn opened on Friday.  That is the largest of the hotel facilities in the section of the park, bigger than the other 2 combined.

Geyser Grill, which I frequently call Geisinger Grill, is the only lunch place here.  And many of the tour buses stop here.  if they are on the ball, they place an order in advance.  so sometimes it's 40 cheeseburgers, 40 french fries and 40 fountain drinks.  We do the cheeseburgers in advance, but the french fries are a different story.  We really got caught short today and had folks waiting all over the place.  One lady, with a neat British accent, asked me why her order was not ready and people that came after her had theirs.  I told her that we like them better than her. She laughed, not expecting my smart aleck remark.  Thank goodness.

When I was out walking yesterday (Saturday) I saw a family where the mom was taking pictures of the family.  I asked if she wanted me to take a picture of all of them and she  agreed.  Later on on the walk way, we crossed paths again and she asked if I would like my picture taken. The attached picture is the results.
