Sunday Night in the puzzle room
The days of the week don't really apply to me here. I know it's Sunday because my cell phone tells me it is. Work was really busy and also we are prepping for an inspection by the Federal Park Inspection folks, whoever they are--George Larson is a name that has been floating around here, too. Who ever he is. I think I am suppose to be impressed. oh well.
One of the things I did was clean the hot chocolate/cappuccino machine. It is one of those that you push the button and hot water and cocoa mix spurt out. It was really caked up with dried up stuff so it was sort of like cleaning a piece of furniture as part of the refinishing process.
I really missed SHARE this past weekend. Not only was I stuck here, but I had to work an extra 4 hours in the Old Faithful Inn on Friday night washing dishes. What a pain in the butt, shoulders, knees, feet, back and various other parts. And I missed movie night in the lounge....Prairie Home Companion. Whine, whine, whine.
The Inn is huge. It had over 450 reservations and a bunch of walk-ins, plus food at the bar. I think folks who work in food service are crazy masochists. I was suppose to work another 4 hours today, but called in sick. Sick of doing dishes. I actually was on the clean side of the dishwashing station, so I really only had to put them away, sort the silverware, move trays of clean glasses to the proper location. It doesn't sound that bad as I write it now, but believe me-it was miserable. I like my cash register in Geyser Grill much, much better.
The reason I'm calling it the puzzle room is that there are 3 different puzzles being worked on at this time. I really don't like doing puzzles so I'm just kibitzing with the puzzle doers while I write my blog. Fun, fun, fun.
Tomorrow (Monday) is my Friday as I have Tuesday and Wednesday off. Hopefully, I'll find something interesting to do. I'll try to get some photos for you all to enjoy.
