No Bears Here

Well, I promised bear pictures today, but once again, I can't seem to get my phone and my laptop talking. I think I know how to do it, but then it doesn't work out.   It has something to do with lousy wifi, but my lack of knowledge probably has more to do with it.  So as it stands, no bear pictures

I do have a funny story about my hoagie.  I was craving a good italian hoagie for some time.  A few times, folks who were going into Bozeman said they would get one for me, but never did.  Finally, Tuesday in Jackson, I was able to get a reasonably good hoagie.  I bought a large which was really too much even for me.  Since I don't have a refrigerator, I asked my buddy Wayne to hold it for me in his refrig.  No problem except for Wednesday evening, when I skipped supper at the EDR, expecting to eat the rest of the hoagie, but I couldn't find Wayne.  I wasn't sure what room was his, and besides that, I found out later, he wasn't there anyway.  I saw him this morning (Thursday), but I didn't want it then.  So again, tonite I skipped dinner at EDR, again couldn't find Wayne, but did at least know what room was his.  After knocking  on the door a few different times, Wayne's roommate answered and said he wasn't there.  I said I just wanted Wayne's refrigerator and was told that everything in it was only his food.  In a panic, I said my hoagie was supposed to be in it.  The roommate asked was I Margaret DLG (Deluxe Large) and then relinquished my hoagie.  There was much celebration among my 3-4 friends when I found, and subsequently ate my long lost hoagie.  I think they were just happy to not hear me talk about it anymore.  Maybe I'll find a hoagie shop in Cody on Saturday at the Pow-wow.  I'll get a small.

I was planning to go to a presentation about Charismatic Plants at the Rec Center but it was postponed because VP Pence was visiting Yellowstone today.  It made a mess for tourists as much of the Old Faithful area was blocked off and I guess the powers that be in charge decided the rangers who would have given the presentation would be too something to give the talk.  I'll catch it later this month or early July.

Work is still going fine.  We had a few Secret Service guys come through the Grill today.  We could see the snipers on the top of Old Faithful Inn, or at least that's what we thought they were.

It has been 2 months since I left home.  Sometimes it seems like yesterday, other times it seems like years.  Although Yellowstone is great and I'm having a good time, I am looking forward to seeing home sweet home, and all that entails.
