And so it starts.

Wagons Hooooo!

 On Friday, April 12, my granddaughter Clara and I are heading out West.  We are taking a train to Salt Lake City, a Greyhound Bus to Bozeman, MT.  There Clara will rent a car to visit her old friends and neighbors, while I get picked up by yet another bus, heading to Yellowstone National Park.

I have been to Yellowstone a few times but with limited time, therefore barely scratching the surface of this incredible place.  I'll be working at Old Faithful Lodge, living in a dorm type housing, eating in an employee dining room--EDR. and living in Yellowstone for 4 months.

Than and Ganzer will keep the home fires going until I get back in late August.

My Yellowstone buddy, Brenda is back at YNP for the winter season. Within the first few days, she and friends saw a wolf herd.  Brenda, quick with the camera was able to get a few seconds of video. Art, just mostly my art.

I am trying to be very funny with giving myself the artist title.  I am enjoying this new-found interest of watercolor painting.  I will never be great, but who cares?  I am and will be satisfied with my results.  So there!! lol. We are in week 5 of 6 in watercolor class.  I have learned so much between Jane, who is a wonderful instructor, more like a guiding spirit, and YouTube, that has tons and tons of information.  Knowing how I can get involved in something and leave everything else behind, I force myself to shine my kitchen sink, aka straighten up the kitchen, before I sit and watch and paint.  Not a bad life, I'll tell you. Enjoy the  refrigerator art.  Thanks....
